Well-being workshop of the AEQUALIS4TCLF project took place on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology at the 18th Scientific and Professional Conference Textile Science and Economy TZG 2026 “Education, research and economy: a bridge for a stronger development of the fashion, textile and leather sectors”.
The main goal of the workshop entitled “Colour in Educational and Work Environments – Effects of Chromatic Parameters on Concentration, Cognitive Efficiency, and Work Performance” was to make people aware that the color is a powerful visual stimulus associated with emotions, attention, and memory, in educational and work environments because it can act as a functional tool, not just an aesthetic choice. Besides that, the goal was also to share knowledge and experiences on recent developments in the textile sector, address skills gaps, explore approaches to migrant integration, and reflect on the role of micro-credentials and curriculum renewal in secondary education.
The workshop brought together professors from higher education, people at managerial positions from TCLF industry as well as labour organization representatives. It was concluded that both, educators and industry, need to thrive more for exchanging knowledge and ideas while trying to find answers together for relevant questions. Educators are willing to adapt and to provide systemic support to translate ideas into practice and to implement their knowledge to improve TCLF industry.
